1. Who we are and what this covers
Altura Logic, LLC ("Altura Logic", "we", "us") is a software and game company headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you use alturalogic.com, quipurunner.com, your Altura One ID account, Wandez, Quipu Runner, our community programs and our other services (the "Services").
The Comment Exporter browser extension has its own Comment Exporter Privacy Policy, which applies to the extension in addition to this one. Websites and stores that our customers build with Wandez are operated by those customers under their own privacy policies (see section 6).
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account: name, email address, username, Altura One ID number, password (stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider) or Google sign-in details (name, email, profile photo), passkey public keys, date of birth, phone number (verified by text message), country, address, time zone, language and your marketing-email choice.
- Billing: billing name, email and address and plan details. Card details are collected and stored by Stripe; we only see the card brand, last four digits and expiry date.
- Workspaces: workspace names and web addresses, members you invite and their roles.
- Communications: quote requests, collaboration and partnership inquiries (including any portfolio or links you send), call bookings (including your phone number and topic), support tickets, account-deletion requests and messages you send us.
- Programs: game jam registrations and verification status, early-access and beta sign-ups, game keys, mentorship waitlists, and video sessions and recordings of mentorships or classes you join.
- Content: websites, stores, text, images and other content you create in Wandez, and the prompts you give our AI features.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, dates and times, and referring pages, in our server and security logs.
- Website analytics: we use Vercel Web Analytics to count page visits and key actions, such as sending a quote request, in aggregate. It does not use cookies or identify you, and we never send it your name, email or messages.
- Security data: we keep IP addresses in protected form (hashed or encrypted) to secure accounts, apply rate limits and block abuse.
- Cookies and local storage: see section 7.
Information we process for business clients: when a business uses our software to manage its own customers (for example tenants, residents, vehicle owners or vendors), we process their names, contact details, requests, photos, messages and call details on that business's behalf and under its instructions. This includes contact records stored in custom software we build or host for that business, to send follow-ups and updates, and information we access from systems the business connects, such as its CRM or property management or shop software, only with its authorization. That business decides what is collected and is responsible for its own privacy notice and the consents the law requires. People should contact that business to exercise their privacy rights, and we will help the business respond. We do not sell this information or use it for our own marketing.
What we do not ask for: we do not ask for or use information about your race, ethnicity, national origin, religion or other sensitive characteristics to provide our services or decide who we work with. Please do not send us this kind of information.
Information from others: Google (if you sign in with Google), Stripe (payment status), and partners of programs you join (for example, game jam organizers confirming participation).
3. How we use information
- to create and secure your account, verify your age and phone number, and provide the Services you request;
- to process payments, manage subscriptions, send receipts and renewal notices, and prevent fraud;
- to provide support, respond to quotes and calls, and send service and account messages;
- to run game jams, betas, early access and mentorships you sign up for;
- to operate AI features, which send your prompts and related content to our AI provider to generate results;
- to protect the Services, our users and Altura Logic, enforce our Terms, and comply with law;
- to improve the Services, using aggregated or de-identified information where possible; and
- to send marketing emails if you opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
5. Where your information is kept
Our Services are designed for and directed only to customers in the United States, including Latin American communities in the United States, although people in other countries may be able to access them.
Altura Logic, LLC is headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. We conduct our business, deliver our projects, and manage and control all personal information from Charlotte, in the United States. The information itself is stored in the cloud, on secure infrastructure operated by our service providers (such as Google Cloud, Vercel and Stripe), primarily in the United States. Contractors or partners who need limited information for a specific project may access it remotely, including from Latin America, under confidentiality obligations. If you use the Services from outside the United States, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States, whose data-protection laws may differ from those where you live.
Where the law requires a safeguard for international transfers, we rely on the safeguards our providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses, or on another basis the law allows.
6. Websites built with Wandez
When a customer builds a website or store with Wandez, that customer decides what information their site collects from its visitors and buyers and how it is used, and is responsible for their own privacy policy and legal obligations. Altura Logic processes that information only on the customer's behalf to provide the Services. Visitors of those sites should contact the site owner about their data.
8. How long we keep information
We keep account information while your account exists, and billing and transaction records for as long as tax, accounting and legal obligations require. Protected security data is kept only as long as needed for security and abuse prevention. Support, quote and call records are kept as long as needed to handle them and for our business records. Records we process for a business client are kept while that business uses the Services, and are deleted or returned when the business asks or closes its account, except what we must keep for legal, tax, security or dispute purposes. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within 45 days, except what we must keep for legal, tax, security or dispute purposes.
9. Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), signed session tokens, hashed or encrypted security data, access controls and owner-only billing to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information. If a security breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the authorities as required by law, including the North Carolina Identity Theft Protection Act.
10. Your choices and rights
- Access and correction: view and update most account information in Settings. Your date of birth can be corrected only through support.
- Deletion: request deletion of your account in Settings → Security. We complete deletion requests within 45 days.
- Marketing: unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the email or in Settings. Service and billing messages will still be sent.
- Copy of your data: email admin@alturalogic.com from the address on your account.
Latin America: if you use our Services from Latin America, you may have the rights your local data-protection law gives you, such as the rights of access, rectification, cancellation (deletion) and objection, including under Peru's Law 29733, Argentina's Law 25.326, Brazil's LGPD (Law 13.709), Mexico's federal personal data law, Colombia's Law 1581 and Chile's personal data law. You may also file a complaint with your country's data-protection authority.
Other countries: our Services are not directed to any country outside the United States, including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. If you use them from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we process your information to perform our contract with you (account, purchases and the Services), for our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, improving the Services), to comply with legal obligations, and with your consent where required (for example, marketing emails). You can withdraw consent at any time and you may complain to your local data protection authority.
Contact us first. If you have a concern about your personal information, you agree to contact Altura Logic first at admin@alturalogic.com and give us a reasonable opportunity, of at least 45 days, to review and correct it before filing a complaint with a data-protection or consumer authority. Most issues can be resolved directly and faster this way. This applies to the extent permitted by law and does not remove any right the law gives you to contact an authority.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, such as rights to know, access, correct, delete or port your information, to opt out of certain processing, or the access, rectification, cancellation and objection rights available in Peru and other Latin American countries. To exercise them, email admin@alturalogic.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time the law requires, and you may appeal a decision by replying to our response. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
11. Adults only
The Services are only for people who are 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will close the account and delete the information. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, contact admin@alturalogic.com.
12. Language and changes to this Policy
This Policy is provided in English only, and the English version is the only binding version. Spanish content on our websites is offered only as an added value and is not a translation of this Policy.
We may update this Policy as the Services or the law change. The effective date above shows the latest version. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or in the Services before it takes effect.
